How does the free 14-day trial work?
We ship the sensor and set it to your preferred settings. Use it in your operatory for two weeks. If it isn't right for your practice, send it back. Shipping is on us both ways.
Will it work with my imaging software?
Almost certainly. Our sensors work with most dental imaging software and capture natively into Dexis, Eaglesoft, Carestream, CDR, VixWin, Dentrix Ascend, Apteryx, TigerView and more, so your software treats them like a sensor it already knows. If you don't see yours, we'll confirm before we ship.
Are there any setup fees?
The trial is free. If you buy, there's a one-time $499 native-capture setup with your first sensor. We configure the sensor to capture directly into your imaging software. It's a one-time charge: every sensor you add later connects at no extra setup cost.
Free trial vs. 30-day money-back guarantee?
The 14-day free trial is available on every DentiMax sensor, before you buy. The 30-day money-back guarantee is an extra promise on the DentiMax Pro after purchase.
Can I trade in my old sensor?
Yes. Trade in a sensor of any brand toward a DentiMax Pro. A working sensor earns a $1,000 credit, bringing the Pro as low as $3,999. A sensor that no longer works still earns $500.
What's covered by the warranty?
Every sensor includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty plus an accidental protection plan. Replacements are always brand new, never refurbished.
Can I buy without doing the trial?

Is there a box or interface to install?
No. DentiMax sensors are boxless and connect directly to a powered USB 2.0 port on Windows 7 through 11.
